Tigers acquire Laird.

Looking like Dusty may be able to mature a little after all.

ESPN reports that the Tigers have snatched Laird from Rangers for a couple of minor league pitchers - Guillermo Moscoso and Carlos Melo.

Honestly, I don't know anything really about the two prospects we are giving up, but I will give them a look and try to report back on anything I find. My initial reaction is that this may be a good deal for the Tigers - not giving up too much for a quality catching help.
